HBF Online Technical Conference 2021, 9th November - 10.30-13.00

This year’s HBF Technical Conference took place online on the 9th November as a morning event and nearly 200 Technical and Managing Directors, plus associated companies within the housebuilding industry registered to attend.

Our key speakers included Bob Ledsome, from DLUHC, who presented on new regulatory framework for design and construction and Emily Bulman, Director of Markets and Charging and OFWAT, who updated the industry on OFWAT’s current work and the short to medium term objectives, as well as the role played by the regulator in the FHTF and the subsequent constitution of the delivery hub.

Richard Lankshear, at NHBC discussed NHBC Accepts and its current status and there was an update on the Future Homes Taskforce from two of its committee, Ed Lockhart, Co-chair & Chris Gaze, Interim Director.

David Craddock, Director at Elite NuGEN Homes & Elite Offsite discussed MMC.  Whilst Phil Hurley, of the Heat Pump Association presents on  the heat pump journey and the planned milestones and integration of heat pumps generally as we quickly head towards both June 22 and FHS in 2025.
