Richard Lankshear

Richard is the Senior Technical Services Manager at NHBC, the UK’s leading independent provider of warranty and insurance for new homes. He joined NHBC in 2016 and now runs a series of commercial services based on the technical assessment against NHCB Standards. These include the Land Quality Endorsement service; an appraisal of land quality and the NHBC Accepts service, being an assessment of innovative technologies in house building. He is responsible for the creation of NHBC's policy and procedures to address Modern Methods of Construction and to identify trends in construction to inform risk management in non-conventional construction.

Richard is a member of the Construction Leadership Council’s working group on Smart Buildings, the MHCLG working group on Modern Methods of Construction and is a stakeholder in the Advanced Industrial Methods of Constructing Homes. He is a chartered structural engineer and a member of the Institution of Structural Engineers Committee for Business Practice and Regulatory Compliance.
