GL Announces UK Distribution Partnership with GSE Intégration

GL has been appointed as a UK distributor for GSE Intégration, taking on stock holding, design services, logistics and installer training for the UK residential market. The partnership brings GSE Intégration's range of roof-integrated solar systems closer to the developers, housebuilders and contractors who need it, backed by a full end-to-end service model built around the realities of UK construction.


The UK new build sector has seen increasing demand for smarter, higher performing home systems and sourcing the right products through the right channels has not always been straightforward. GL's appointment as a UK distributor addresses that gap directly. With stock held on UK soil, developers and contractors no longer face the uncertainty of extended lead times or international freight complications. Orders can be fulfilled quickly and projects can move forward without unnecessary delays.

GL's relationship with GSE Intégration goes beyond straightforward distribution. The two companies have structured the partnership to cover the full project lifecycle, from initial design through to on-site delivery and installer competency, creating a service that supports projects at every stage.

GSE Integration stands as the European leader in building integrated photovoltaic mounting systems and has operated as a subsidiary of TERREAL Group since 2018. TERREAL Group brings over 150 years of specialised expertise in roofing and terracotta products to this collaboration. Driven by an imperative to provide customers with the most innovative and adapted products, GSE Integration represents an ideal partner for this groundbreaking training initiative.

One of the most practical aspects of the partnership is GL's plot pack service. Rather than delivering bulk orders to site and leaving contractors to sort and distribute materials themselves, GL manages the process at plot level. Each individual plot within a development receives its own correctly specified delivery, with the right equipment for that specific installation arriving directly where it is needed.

For large-scale developments in particular, this removes a significant logistical burden from site managers and reduces the risk of materials being misallocated, lost or delayed. It is a straightforward approach that makes a meaningful difference to how projects are run on the ground.

GL carries out roof design work on behalf of GSE Intégration, with all designs completed to a 7 day turnaround. Each design is produced in full compliance with UK housing standards, ensuring that specifications are not only technically sound but also aligned with the regulatory requirements that apply to new residential builds in this country. Housebuilders receive compliant, ready-to-use designs quickly, allowing the rest of the programme to proceed on time.

GL operates a dedicated E-home facility, a fully fitted training environment built around live products. As part of this partnership, all installers working with GSE Intégration products are able to access free training there. The E-home provides a realistic, hands-on environment where engineers can work directly with the products before attending site, building the knowledge and confidence needed to carry out installations correctly.

Raising the standard of installation quality across the board benefits everyone involved, from the developer delivering the finished home to the occupant living in it. Making that training free and accessible removes any barrier to participation.
