Veronica is a distinguished member of the Building Consultancy team, specialising in the Building Safety Act. Originally qualifying as a Building Surveyor in Italy, she has since become a Chartered Building Engineer in the UK. Her career spans a wide range of sectors including residential, industrial, commercial, and community developments.
With deep expertise in building control and surveying, Veronica brings extensive technical knowledge of UK and European construction technologies, legislation, building regulations and standards. Her proficiency also covers health and safety, fire safety in tall buildings, building pathology, and site inspection.
Before joining the team, Veronica held a pivotal role at the National House Building Council, where she focused on ensuring compliance with building regulations and British standards from design through to completion. She is known for her collaborative approach, working closely with clients to ensure project teams are equipped with the right skills, guidance, and direction to achieve full compliance.
More recently, Veronica has led due diligence on complex engineering proposals, including landmark projects such as Fulham Riverside, Hendon Waterside, and Ridgeway Views. These experiences have further strengthened her expertise in higher-risk buildings.
She is a Fellow of CABE (Chartered Building Engineer), she is a Class 3 Registered Building Inspector with the Building Safety Regulator (BSR), she has achieved IEng qualification, and she is an Associate Member of RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).
Veronica currently serves as Vice President of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers, a role that reflects her leadership and contributions to the industry
