Matthew Pratt, ceo of Redrow, is to step down from Barratt Redrow on June 30.
Pratt, also group executive director of Barratt Redrow, will leave the board and his position as the operational integration of the two housebuilders nears completion. The business said he would “remain available to the company” until December 31.
With Pratt stepping down and Steven Boyes, Barratt Redrow’s deputy ceo and chief operating officer retiring on September 6, David Thomas will remain as ceo and Mike Scott chief financial officer. They will be executive directors on the board.
And upon Boyes’ departure, Mike Roberts, currently regional managing director of Barratt Redrow's Northern region, will become the merged company’s chief operating officer-designate and member of the Barratt Redrow executive committee.
Barratt Redrow said the new chief operating officer role would not be a plc board appointment.
On Pratt’s departure, David Thomas said: "Following a successful 22-year career at Redrow plc, including five years as ceo prior to the combination, Matthew has had a key role in the smooth and effective integration of Barratt and Redrow. I would like to thank him for his valuable contribution to the combined business."
