Mark Farmer joins line up at HMI Conference

Mark Farmer, founder of the Cast Consultancy, is the latest speaker to join the line up for this year’s Housing Market Intelligence Conference in October.

Farmer has 35 years of experience in construction and authored Modernise or Die, an independent government review of the UK’s construction labour model. He is chair of NHBC’s multi-skills site hubs steering group.

He joins a powerful line up of speakers including National Housing Bank ceo Simon Century, Building Safety Regulator chair Lord Andy Roe, NHBC ceo Paul Turner and Cluttons' director of research and insights Grainne Gilmore.

Justin Webb will once again chair the day.

Delegates will all receive a copy of the annual Housing Market Intelligence Report which includes industry analysis, data, stats and the Top 75 housebuilders listing.

HMI will tackle the key issues facing the industry in these difficult times, focusing on the challenges confronting both SMEs and bigger builders.

New prime minister Andy Burnham will have been in office for nearly three months when HMI takes place, and the conference will examine his impact on the housing sector and what might lie in store under this new administration.
