Major boost for Birmingham regeneration precinct

Birmingham’s £6 billion Eastside regeneration precinct has been given a major boost with approval being granted to Countryside Properties’ City Park Gate scheme. The 4.68 acre mixed-use urban quarter, designed by MAKE Architects, will feature 844 apartments, of which 25% will be affordable homes, 300,000sq ft of office space, a hotel and retail facilities. The £250 million scheme lies in close proximity to Birmingham’s Bullring and Selfridges buildings.
