Utility and civil engineering contractor J Browne is extending its sewer connection services across London and the Home Counties. The company not only digs the ground and installs new infrastructure but manages the entire process in house, under the watch of sewer connections manager Pat Kavanagh.<br> <br> Kavanagh is on hand to deal with the complex range of administrative issues on behalf of clients, such as applying for and obtaining statutory licences, streetworks notices and traffic orders and obtaining agreement of traffic management plans.<br> <br> Browne takes a drainage design from feasibility study right through to obtaining a consent to connect from a sewerage provider. The company then constructs new connections using fully accredited operatives and supervisors, and ensures that works are carried out to Adoptable Standards.<br> <br> Recent examples of high profile schemes where Browne has provided sewer connections include the laying of new infrastructure beneath Borough High Street in Southwark.
