Brain Game success

<p>Housebuilder and Marie Curie’s annual Brain Game has raised more than £100,000 for the charity, along with laughs aplenty, as industry attendees were entertained throughout the quiz by a number of top celebrities. Actress Claire Sweeney hosted the event, along with celebs including boxing legend Sir Henry Cooper, Duncan Goodhew, Laura Baldwin and Kay Burley. The top auction prize – a day’s yacht racing on the Solent for 36 guests – went for more than £17,000. </p> <p>The Andersen Group’s team took home top prize – beating more than 40 other teams in the brain-teasing quiz. “Thank you to everyone who supported this fantastic event and helped raise money for such a worthy cause,” said Ben Roskrow, HB Media’s publishing director, who initiated the event along with business manager Helen Board and Explore Living’s Paul Healey. “We look forward to raising even more at the next Housebuilding Brain Game on May 1 2008.”</p>
