Anthology to expand beyond London

<p><span>London-based developer Anthology is to expand beyond London, it announced today (February 15).</span></p> <p><span>Anthology, part of Lifestory – a merger of later living brands Pegasus and Renaissance with the open market developer – said it was seeking “medium-scale, mid-market opportunities” of 100 homes or more, with or without planning permission, in urban areas in England.</span></p> <p><span>The business said it favoured complex sites which were “perhaps buried in the heart of communities that are undergoing or about to embark upon the wider regeneration required in our towns and cities across the UK”. </span></p> <p><span>It stressed that it was still committed to building in London but said that, as part of Lifestory, it could offer multiple tenures within one site, bringing flexibility to planners and local communities.</span></p> <p><span>Anthology’s plans align with Lifestory’s ambitions, it said, with its parent company having announced its intention to acquire sites over the next five years to deliver more than 5,000 new homes for all ages. Lifestory was launched in late 2019. </span></p> <p><span>In London and the south east, Lifestory has created 750 new homes and 350 for later living.
