Robust Details Sound Effects Seminars 2014

2014 robustdetails Sound Effects Seminar

The robustdetails scheme is now ten years old.

Expert speakers at our 2014 'Sound Effects' Seminars will provide a full technical update on what we have found over the last decade and will pass on some of the lessons learned from thousands of sound tests and site inspections.

At this year's regional seminars you will also learn about:

*test results and how to achieve the best possible performance

*which walls and floors are performing better than anticipated, and which ones that are not achieving the results we had expected.

*new (and amended) robust details, issued since the last round of seminars.

*our top Dos and Don'ts for avoiding sound insulation problems on site what to do if something goes wrong on site

Our expert team will also be on hand to give 'robust' guidance and advice about the scheme.

You'll also be able to hear from the latest prospects for the RD scheme to expand into other areas of regulation.  Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to learn of findings of The NHBC Foundation Research project 'noise' in homes - a review of current issues' and hear about the new British Standard 'Guidance on sound insulation and noise reduction for buildings.
