Saint-Gobain Weber’s weberpral E is a breakthrough monocouche render made with increased levels of recycled material. It has been created to help housebuilders meet their sustainability goals while strengthening the environmental performance of new developments.
weberpral E achieves a 22 percent reduction in carbon emissions from fossil fuels and delivers a 10 percent overall carbon reduction compared to Weber’s current monocouche products*. It offers the same trusted performance customers know from weberpral M, helping builders work with certainty every day on site.
As a leader in monocouche render, Weber continues to innovate. Cement is one of the most carbon‑intensive materials in construction, so finding effective alternatives is essential. Weber applies circular economy principles in product development and is targeting net zero by 2050, with a 20 percent CO2 reduction by 2030.
weberpral E reduces reliance on traditional cement by using next‑generation cement replacement technology. This approach cuts carbon, supports sustainability targets and uses 28 percent less water in the raw material supply*. An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is available, making weberpral E, weberpral M and weberpral D the first monocouche renders in the UK with a Type III environmental label.
Contractors have already recognised the benefits. In blind trials, five contractors compared weberpral E with four leading monocouche renders and rated it highest for spraying, ruling, scraping and ease of application. It can be applied at 15mm in areas of severe exposure, reducing material use, saving time and improving efficiency while still delivering a strong, durable finish.
