Vicky Payne

A planner and urban designer, Vicky has extensive experience in engaging with the development process from policy creation to place design. She has worked on strategic spatial planning frameworks, town centre strategies and large scale masterplans. She helped to develop the National Model Design Code with government and has co-authored a book about the future of UK high streets.

Vicky is an Associate at Jas Bhalla Architects, an interdisciplinary practice operating in the fields of architecture, town planning and urban design, where she leads on large scale masterplanning projects. Alongside her work at the practice she offers advice, analysis, design and storytelling services as an independent consultant.
