Stephanie Edwards

Stephanie Edwards is currently Head of Infrastructure Policy in the UK Office for Low Emission Vehicles, the central government team that leads on electric vehicle policy for the UK. Her team sets the policy framework for electric vehicle infrastructure in the UK, including consulting on changing Building Regulations to ensure every new home built has a chargepoint and setting minimum infrastructure requirements for non-residential buildings; and delivering a multi-million pound grant scheme for chargepoints for those without off-road parking. Stephanie led on the Road to Zero strategy, which sets out the UK’s strategic approach to investing £1.5 billion to make the UK the best place in the world to develop and use electric vehicles. Prior to this role, Stephanie was a Diplomat in the British Embassy in Beijing working to build UK – China links, including on green technologies.
