Julia Plaskett is Group Sustainability Manager of Crest Nicholson, a leading UK developer of sustainable communities.
Crest Nicholson is committed to integrating sustainability into every aspect of the business and works work with a variety of leading partners to turn sustainability vision into practice.
In 2007 Crest Nicholson's contribution to the built environment was recognised with The Queens Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development. This award is testament to the company's continued emphasis on producing high quality developments that champion the very best principles in sustainability and design.
Julia is part of the Group Sustainability Team which works as an integral part of the business operations. Much of the role of the Team is focussed on seeking innovative practical solutions to drive our response to the UK Government's Code for Sustainable Homes.
Having completed studies in Integrated Environmental Management with the University of Bath, Julia is an Associate Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment, with over 6 years experience in the property sector.
Julia represents Crest Nicholson on the steering committee for NextGeneration, the WWF Forest Trade Network, and she was a member of the UK Green Building Council Zero Carbon Task Group.
