Jack Dromey MP

Jack Dromey MP is a Labour Party MP and trade unionist, who has been the Member of Parliament for Birmingham Erdington since 2010.

He was appointed Shadow Minister for Communities and Local Government in 2010 and Shadow Minister for Housing in 2011. He was previously the Deputy General Secretary of Britain and Ireland's biggest union, Unite.

He has a long history of campaigning not only in the Trade Union movement but also in the community and on Housing. As a lay activist, he was Secretary of both the Brent Trades Council and the Brent Federation of Tenants and Residents Associations and he was a founder member of the Housing Action Campaign.
