Eleanor Deeley is Joint Managing Director of Deeley Group, a Midlands-based property developer, contractor and housebuilder founded by her grandfather 90 years ago.

Eleanor, a specialist in brownfield and complex projects, has more than 26 years’ experience in Midlands’ development market and is a former Partner at Cushman & Wakefield and director at CBRE.

Since joining Deeley Group in 2019, Eleanor has played a pivotal role in strengthening the company's market presence and expanding its’ expertise across housing, care and retirement living. Under her leadership, the Group has delivered 553 extra care apartments and 183 care home beds in the last year alone, while doubling turnover over the past three years.

Eleanor, a Deeley Group Charity Trustee, places a strong focus on social value and community investment. In 2025 alone £61,140 was donated to local charities through the Deeley Group Charity and employees contributed 580 volunteer hours to the local community.

The Group is equally committed to developing the next generation of talent, with 26% of employees progressing through apprenticeship and further learning programmes, 48% of the workforce having more than five years' service, and 675 hours of training and continuing professional development completed across the team.

Alongside her leadership role, Eleanor is a Non-Executive Director for Fisher German, A trustee of UHCW Hospital Charity, a trustee of St Chands Sanctuary. Eleanor is also a Board member of Real Estate:UK and HBF and a regular contributor to Wake up to Money (BBC Radio 5) and the Today programme on BBC Radio 4.
