Craig Ferrans

Craig C Ferrans MCIAT is the Technical Director of the Home Builders Federation (HBF)

Craig, who recently joined the Federation to replace Dave Mitchell now retired, has over 25 years' experience working in both the housebuilding sector and private practice.

Having provided a central design and technical service, Craig implemented the working drawing delivery through the use of Building Information Modelling and provided advice on regulation and compliance both internally and externally to key stakeholders.

Craig was the technical lead on all energy matters and was instrumental in delivering one of UK' s first Zero Carbon homes on a live site by a major housing developer achieving all levels of the Code for Sustainable Homes.
