Charlie Collins

Charles provides planning consultancy and project management advice. He leads the South East Planning team operating from Guildford, Sevenoaks and Brighton.

He has 19 years experience and advises on strategic planning policy including Local Plans, Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL), planning applications, project co-ordination, EIA and public consultation.

Charles also has particular experience in co-ordinating residential or major infrastructure proposals through the planning promotion and application process, including EIA development. Charles also undertakes planning research for Savills and leads the national Planning Thought Leadership group. In the past, Charles has coordinated sub-regional forums to tackle planning delays, most recently involvement with setting up the Surrey Development Forum.
