Antony Pollard is a Senior Director in the Economics team at Turley and is a chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI). He has over 20 years’ experience in regeneration and economic development consultancy, starting his career at GVA Grimley in the early 2000s. In 2013 he co-founded the national Economics team at Turley and was head of the team between 2019 and 2026, overseeing its growth and diversification into place based economic analysis, business case and funding, social impact assessment, health impact, equality impact and social infrastructure needs assessments.
Antony has supported numerous local authorities and private sector clients in the preparation of evidence to justify the need for housing of different types, tenures and typologies. He regularly represents clients interests at hearings and inquiries as an expert witness on housing and economic planning matters, increasingly finding himself involved in the promotion of commercial development as well as housing. He has supported the HBF, LPDF and others in the submission and representation of evidence-based publications aimed at promoting the importance of the provision of housing to individuals and the national economy
