Andrew has worked in the construction industry since the mid seventies, starting behind a trade counter at a local builders merchant.
He joined Vencel Resil Ltd, manufacturers of Jablite Expanded Polystyrene insulation as a technical representative in the mid eighties and worked up to Sales and Marketing Director before leaving the company to pursue a career in Offsite construction, stimulated by the development within Vencel Resil of a SIP's based building system.
After a short stay with Offsite consultants Mtech-Consult and further convinced there is a better way to build, he accepted the role as Managing Director of Innovaré Systems, a subsidiary of the South East based contractor Osborne Limited, supplying structural insulated panel based dry structures.
In 2008 Innovaré, under Andrew's leadership and with financial backing from Osborne, expanded into manufacturing their own building system, i-SIP, at a brand new facility in Coventry, to provide the construction market with a fully designed, engineered, manufactured and erected building system typifying offsite construction principles.
