<p>William Davis Homes has appointed Mark Waplington as its commercial director.</p> <p>Waplington joins the East Midlands-based housebuilder’s executive team, bringing with him a wealth of skills and knowledge accumulated from the private housing sector.</p> <p>He said: “William Davis Homes has always impressed me. They have a strong regional presence and a track record of success and stability which has been maintained over their 85 years of operation. Allied to that is their ethical approach to business which has generated a strong and dedicated team, and this team is something that I’m proud to become a part of.”</p> <p>Waplington added that he was looking to simplify and improve the “systems that drive” the housebuilder. “Despite years of proven success the company recognises the merit in reviewing its processes and implementing change where added value can be demonstrated. Furthermore, the tools are already in place to make improvements quickly and seamlessly.”</p> <p>Guy Higgins, William Davis’ md, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Mark to the team.
