Weston Homes has appointed Peter Gore as new chief executive officer of Weston Group.
The group, which includes housebuilder Weston Homes and offsite manufacturing business British Offsite, has promoted Gore, Weston Homes’ group operations director since 2021. In his new role, he will work closely alongside Bob Weston, chairman and founder of the business, and the board of directors.
Gore will now work across the company to oversee product delivery and quality, staff team building and development, “exemplary” health and safety standards and “outstanding” customer satisfaction.
Before joining Weston Homes, Gore was managing director of Taylor Wimpey London for three years. Previously to this, he held senior delivery and construction director roles at Barratt Homes and Mount Anvil.
In its latest operating year, Weston Homes achieved 872 legal completions - 118 more than its previous financial year - also completing the build of more than 1,000 homes.
Earlier this year, the housebuilding arm announced it would launch and develop an additional £315 million in five new residential schemes this year, to provide almost 900 more new homes across London and the South East.
