Warning on cheap plywood

<b></b> The British Woodworking Federation has issued a warning over the importation and use of poor quality plywood.<br><b> &amp;"It has come to our notice that considerable quantities of unregulated plywood are being brought into the UK and being used in construction,&amp;" said John Hedgecock at the BWF. &amp;"The method of production of much of this plywood is questionable and has led to problems with veneer quality and delamination.&amp;" The BWF warns that the purchase and use of &amp;"inappropriate&amp;" plywood could have legal implications for builders. </b><br><b>For further information contact John Hedgecock at the BWF on 020 7608 5054 or e-mail john.hedgecock@bwf.co.uk. </b><br>
