Vortice supplies Prometeo heat recovery system to Cornish engine house

Vortice has supplied its Vort Prometeo heat recovery system to a contractor in Cornwall, Tee Ltd, to install within an old mine engine house at Wheal Kitty near St Agnes (below). David Freeman of Tee had installed the Vort Prometeo in other developments and with that in mind came up with a scheme to improve the working environment within the building, which is now being used as offices and a meeting/training room. <br> <br> Vort Prometeo is a heat recovery system designed to the highest environmental standards, with a heat exchange efficiency of up to 92%. It has Appendix Q eligibility when installed on a ground breaking kitchen plus up to eight additional wet rooms configuration. <br> <br> Designed primarily for the housing market with the Code for Sustainable Homes embedded into its design ethos, Vort Prometeo extracts from wet rooms and recovers heat for use elsewhere in the building.<br> <br>
