Vistry Partnerships to deliver 6,000 homes “by 2022”

<p><span>Vistry Partnerships aims to deliver 6,000 homes a year by around 2022, with the merger of Galliford Try Partnerships &amp; Regeneration and Bovis marking a “real change” for the Partnerships business, according to Stephen Teagle, ceo of Vistry Partnerships.</span></p><p><span>Speaking to <i>Housebuilder</i>, Teagle, former boss of GT Partnerships &amp; Regeneration which, alongside its housebuilding business Linden merged with Bovis in January, said that the presence of Vistry Partnerships in the newly formed group offered a “modernisation of the housebuilder business model”.</span></p><p><span>“The housebuilding model is a fairly traditional one of providing homes for sale with some obligation for affordable housing,” Teagle said. “But the partnership model allows for long term partnerships to be established with local authorities, housing associations, financial institutions and some wealth funds to deliver across a range of tenures. It is much less cyclical. </span></p><p><span>“What is underlining the positivity around the merger is the amalgamation of a traditional housebuilder model with a 21<sup>st</sup> century model. This puts us in a real position of strength going forward.”</span></p><p><span>Vistry Partnerships aims to deliver 6,000 homes a year on revenues of “at least” £1 billion.
