Vent-Axia ground source heat pumps achieve MCS certification

Vent-Axia, has recently been awarded Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) accreditation by the British Board of Agrément (BBA) for its Thernamic series of ground source heat pumps. <br> <br> Vent-Axia’s Thernamic ground source heat pumps are thus fully compliant with the technology requirements of the MCS and eligible for payments under the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) which requires both the installer and the equipment to be MCS certified. <br> <br> Designed to provide renewable space heating and domestic hot water for residential and commercial building projects, the Thernamic product range includes single phase units from 4–24kW and three phase units from 4–30kW. A high temperature series is also available from 4–20kW which is capable of heating at temperatures up to 65° C, negating the need to use a direct acting emersion heater whilst still meeting the cylinder pasteurisation temperatures. <br> <br>
