UK property developers buy Manor Kingdom

Luxury Scottish housebuilder, Manor Kingdom, has been acquired by UK property developers Remo Dipre and David Gaffney. Keith Punler, the current chief exec and main shareholder, is to step down and plans to leave the firm. The UK investors have paid an undisclosed sum in a new holding company, which is to be renamed Manor Kingdom Group, to acquire the entire business interests of the company and its subsidiaries. “Manor Kingdom has an unrivalled reputation at the luxury end of the market and is renowned for its craftsmanship and the quality of its product,” said David Gaffney. “We believe there are major opportunities to build on that platform and grow the brand across the UK.” The money injected into the company through the deal will fuel the firm’s expansion into the UK market. While it will retain its Dunfermline headquaters, there are plans to open a new regional office in Epsom, Surrey within the next year. The total gross development value of Manor Kingdom’s existing sites is in excess of £150 million.
