Taylor Wimpey completed 10,593 homes in 2024, 2% down on the year before but ahead of expectations. Describing the market this year as “robust”, TW expects completions in 2025 to be between 10,400 and 10,800 homes.
Announcing its 2024 full year results, Taylor Wimpey revealed that revenue in the year fell 3.2% year-on-year to £3.4 billion, while operating profit fell 11.5% to £416.2 million. Its UK net private sales rate was 0.75 homes per outlet per week (2023: 0.62) and its UK average selling price on private completions fell to £356,000 (2023: £370,000) with the overall average selling price £319,000 (2023: £324,000).
