Taylor Wimpey has appointed Ingrid Skinner, md of the company’s central London business unit, to its executive management team.<br><br>Skinner has spearheaded the growth of the business since it was set up in late 2010, shaping the company’s strategy in the capital. Under her guidance the business has acquired a number of schemes and now possesses more than ten sites in London zones 1 &amp; 2.<br><br>At just 35, Skinner is one of the youngest mds in post and is currently the only woman heading up a Taylor Wimpey regional business unit. She joined the George Wimpey graduate management scheme in 2001 and worked her way through the ranks to director and general manager of Bryant Eastern and subsequently Taylor Wimpey City.
