TW ceo Jennie Daly to speak at HMI conference

Taylor Wimpey chief executive Jennie Daly is to speak at this year’s annual Housing Market Intelligence conference (HMI) in October.

Daly, who took the reins at TW last year, will share her views on the industry and the challenges facing housebuilders this Autumn. She is part of a strong line up of speakers which also includes Nationwide chief economist Robert Gardner, looking at the mortgage market, and Sunday Times economics editor David Smith. Mark Farmer, ceo of Cast Consultancy, will look at the MMC sector and Geeta Nanda, ceo of Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing, will discuss the housing association landscape.

There will also be presentations by Robert Colville, director of The Centre for Policy Studies, and Tom Bill, head of UK residential research at Knight Frank, while AF Oliver executive chairman Matt Fleming will give his view on the market and how to sell in difficult times.

HBF executive chairman Stewart Baseley will give the crucial overview of where the industry stands, the relationship with government and key policy issues. Broadcaster and journalist Justin Webb will chair the conference.
