True blue tile fits the bill

Dreadnought Tiles’ new Classic Staffordshire Blue has been added to the company’s range in response to requests from conservation departments and English Heritage for a “genuine blue” tile to match existing roof coverings on restoration projects. The tile also suits new-build properties, especially in locations where planners require a specific appearance.<br> <br> The tile is one of four natural burnt clay colours in Dreadnought’s new Classic Handformed range (Deep Red, Bronze and a Purple Brown being the others) marrying a more traditional, rustic appearance with modern production techniques to produce roof tiles with variation in texture and shape as well as industry-leading performance and longevity. All tiles are tested to more than 400 freeze/thaw cycles (four times higher than current European standards) and deliver decades of performance.<br> <br>
