"That's what I want!" Prescott tells Westbury

Westbury's Space4 off-site construction plant has been praised by John Prescott as "the new kind of housing production we want to see". "With the Space4 process, Westbury can do it in half the time it takes to build a traditional home. Lot's of different designs - good quality - that's what I want for people and that's what's being built here," said the deputy prime minister on a recent visit to the factory. "Let's have more houses built this way." The morale-boosting praise has been welcomed by Westbury, which has suffered teething problems at the £15 million Castle Bromwich plant since it opened three years ago.
