Telford Homes rebrands to drive growth

Telford Homes has launched a new brand identity, with the business now naming itself Telford Living and planning to expand beyond London.

The name change, Telford said, reflected its new focus across “living tenures,” including Build to Rent, purpose-built student accommodation, co-living and open market sales across the UK.

The newly branded company will use a “flexible development approach” to deliver its projects, partnering with third-party general contractors, while moving into new geographies and product types.

Established 24 years ago, the newly branded company has delivered more than 15,000 apartments across 170 regeneration projects. It currently has eight sites valued at £1.6 billion under construction and in the pipeline, totalling 4,400 apartments.

Telford Living is the European residential development arm of Trammell Crow Company (TCC) and is “backed by significant capital”.

In 2019, Telford announced a shift to the Build to Rent market. Later that year, it was acquired by global commercial real estate developer TCC, a subsidiary of CBRE Group.
