Taywood shake-up sees new Bryant chief

Taylor Woodrow Construction md Denis MacDaid is to become chief executive of Bryant Homes, replacing current md Paul Phipps who will leave the group. <p></p><p>Phipps oversaw the initial integration of Bryant and Taywood Homes which the company says has resulted in £15 million in savings. </p><p>Tony Wilby, currently md of TW's property company, will run TW's city developments, upmarket UK homes and the Spanish and Australian operations.</p><p><br> </p><p><b><b>Stats static</b><br><b></b> Latest government figures show that last year 57% of housing was built on previously developed land and through conversion of existing buildings - the same as it has been since 1995.
