Taylor Wimpey has appointed Rose Sandell to the newly appointed role of group communities director.
Sandell, who joined the volume housebuilder in June, has been recruited to steer its delivery of sustainable and futureproofed communities, it said.
Her appointment, according to the business, “marks the latest chapter in Taylor Wimpey’s commitment to creating thriving communities that leave a positive legacy and puts the group in a strong position to respond to industry changes”.
Previously Redrow’s group communities director and executive board lead for ESG and sustainability, Sandell will oversee Taylor Wimpey’s strategies in three core areas: sustainability, masterplanning and affordable housing.
She has more than 30 years’ industry experience, including 15 at Redrow. Sandell began her career with registered providers, also spending six years at Crest Nicholson.
