A recent survey has revealed that more than 60% of new home buyers would prefer a new to a secondhand home. The survey of 2,762 buyers, undertaken by property portal <a href="http://www.new-homes.co.uk">new-homes.co.uk</a>, comes in the lead up to New Homes Week from March 7 to 13. The HBF and New Homes Marketing Board campaign is aimed at promoting the benefits of new housing, and a series of events are planned to demonstrate the industry's progress in terms of design, sustainability, training and community involvement.
