Survey reveals 90%satisfaction in new homes

The latest housebuilding industry customer satisfaction survey reveals that around nine out of ten purchasers are happy with the overall quality of their home with an almost identical number saying they would recommend their builder to a friend. <br> <br> The HBF-organised survey was released at the beginning of March after Housebuilder went to press, so full details of the popular star ratings for the housebuilders included in the survey were not available. But it is understood that every company taking part has either maintained its overall ranking from last year or shown improvement. <br> <br> “This is another truly outstanding set of results,” said HBF executive chairman Stewart Baseley. “Since HBF started the survey six years ago there has been a gradual and steady improvement in satisfaction levels. Consistent, year on year improvements like this do not happen by accident. Companies have to demonstrate a real commitment to drive such progress from board level to site level, in every aspect of their work.” <br> <br> The survey is seen as an important benchmark by industry with housebuilders now using the star rating results throughout their marketing to showcase their level of customer satisfaction. <br> <br> The full results can …
