The first-ever rolls of mineral wool insulation to fully fill cavity walls in houses have been launched by independent manufacturer Superglass.<br> <br> Superglass says that Superwall Roll 36, so named because of its lambda performance of 36 (0.036), is unique to the market. The company claims that due to the width of its two production lines, Superglass is the only UK manufacturer capable of producing it in three 455mm widths in one roll.<br> <br> The product is expected to prove popular with merchants, contractors and specifiers for a myriad of reasons, not least its cost-effectiveness.<br> <br> Superglass says that both merchants and contractors will be pleased that its 3-in-1 capability (three 455mm widths in one roll) means lower transport costs than traditional solutions, less packaging waste on site and fewer packs to store. <br> <br> The company adds that contractors will be equally as keen that it is exceptionally easy to fit and will reduce installation times.<br> <br>
