Stewart Lynes to become new Miller ceo

<p><span>Stewart Lynes is to become Miller Homes’ chief executive, succeeding current boss Chris Endsor from the end of March.</span></p> <p><span>Lynes, who has been Miller’s chief operating officer since 2019, will assume responsibility for the overall management of the business, with Endsor becoming executive chairman. </span></p> <p><span>This follows Miller’s <a href="https://www.house-builder.co.uk/news/miller-homes-bought-apollo-bridgepoint/">announcement</a> in late December that </span><span>a fund managed by Apollo had agreed to buy the housebuilder from private equity company Bridgepoint.</span> The transaction is expected to complete in the first quarter of 2022.</p> <p><span>Lynes joined the housebuilder 15 years ago, holding various senior positions before assuming his current post. Miller said he had “consistently demonstrated his passion and enthusiasm along with his ability to help drive the successful delivery of the company’s strategy and track record”. </span></p> <p><span>In his new role of executive chairman, Endsor will lead the board, working closely with Lynes to develop and support Miller’s future growth strategy.
