St Modwen announces projects for more than 1,100 homes

<p>St Modwen Homes has announced details of five projects which will deliver more than 1,100 new homes across England - in Lancashire, Kent, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and London.</p> <p><span>The new schemes represent more than £85 million of investment from the housebuilder. They include 28.6 acres of land in Ditton Edge, Kent, with permission for 300 homes. Meanwhile, in west London, St Modwen has secured consent for 267 units in Uxbridge on the former RAF Uxbridge site through its joint venture with Vinci.</span></p><p></p> <p><span>In Newark, Nottinghamshire, the business will deliver 300 homes. It has plans for 116 homes in Coalville, Leicestershire and an additional 128 homes are due to exchange in Chorley, Lancashire.</span></p><p></p> <p><span>This news follows St Modwen’s </span><a href="https://www.house-builder.co.uk/news/st-modwens-housebuilding-and-strategic-land-combine-growth">announcement</a><span> earlier this week that it plans to double in size over the next five years through combining St Modwen Homes with its strategic land arm, Strategic Land and Regeneration.</span></p><p></p> <p><span>In 2021, St Modwen Homes delivered 1,187 new homes.
