Sovereign Network Group (SNG) has chosen Guy Slocombe as its new chief investment and development officer, taking over from Tom Titherington who announced in April that he would step down.
According to the housing association developer, Slocombe, currently chief investment officer of the Hyde Group, will join the business in February 2025, working alongside Titherington who will remain with SNG until March “to ensure a smooth transition and oversee the completion of existing key projects”.
Slocombe brings much senior level experience from across the public, private, and third sectors including investment, asset management, and development. He has been responsible for delivering Hyde’s new homes programme and capital investment partnerships.
Before Hyde, Slocombe spent 30 years in commercial real estate consultancy and investment management. He was head of city investment at Nelson Bakewell and partner at Drivers Jonas, where he established and oversaw European institutional and private investor fund mandates.
Slocombe was also ceo of private equity backed investor Clarenco and director of real estate and property fund management at Westminster City Council, Here, he transformed its commercial property investment portfolio fund.
