Building envelope and renewable energy specialist Schueco UK Limited has launched a high-insulation version of one of its most successful aluminium folding door systems. Known as ASS 80 FD.HI, the door comes in a range of options and offers not only a typical U value of 1.5, but also narrow leaf-to-leaf face widths of only 112mm. <br> <br> With a frame depth of 80mm and either rebated or flush thresholds, the door is available with leaves up to 1.2 metres wide and up to 3 metres high, with a maximum weight of 100kg.<br> <br> Shueco says that with its elegant looks, slim sight-lines and high-quality fittings, the door is as equally at home in residential properties as it is in commercial environments such as hotels or restaurants.<br> <br>
