Santander UK chief economist Frances Haque will speak at this year’s Housing Market Intelligence Conference in London on October 8th.
Haque, who is responsible for the economic analysis and macroeconomic forecasts used by the retail bank, will give her view on the economic outlook and what the industry might expect in terms of interest rate movements and mortgage offerings.
She joins a strong line up of speakers that includes Matthew Spry, senior director at planning consultant Lichfields, and Gráinne Gilmore, director of research & insights at Cluttons.
Spry will be looking at the detail and implications of the government’s planning reform, the new NPPF and the Planning and Infrastructure. Gilmore will as ever sharing her thoughts on the housing market and new build sector, backed by her research and industry data.
The conference will also include two expert panels exploring “How can the industry deliver the government’s 1.5 million new homes target?” and “The opportunities and challenges of meeting today’s sustainability and environmental demands”.
