Reshuffle brings new housing and planning ministers

Mark Prisk, the Conservative MP for Hertford and Stortford, has been appointed housing minister in prime minister David Cameron's reshuffle. He replaces Grant Shapps who has been promoted to party chairman.<br> <br> Prisk was previously construction minister. He has also served as shadow financial secretary to the Treasury, shadow paymaster general and home affairs whip. As minister in the Department of Business Innovation and Skills he had responsibility for cutting red tape.<br> <br> Meanwhile Nick Boles, Conservative MP for Grantham and Stamford, is the new planning minister, replacing Greg Clark who has become financial secretary to the Treasury.
