<p>Redrow has sold its Scottish business to Elgin-based Springfield Properties for £49 million, with £5 million cash due on completion and £44 million deferred to be paid as developments are sold over the next three years.</p> <p>Redrow's Scottish operation comprises eight sites with planning permission. Redrow chairman Steve Morgan said the sales would enable Redrow to increase its investment in land in London and the south east.</p>
