Redrow predicts house price rises after record results

Redrow chief executive Paul Pedley has expressed confidence in the firm’s continuing growth in light of its recently announced record results, which saw pre-tax profits up 17% to £124.1 million. Pedley plans to increase Redrow’s production from 4,300 units to 6,000 within ten years, and raise its dividend by 20% each year over the next three. He predicts house price rises of between 3 – 4% next year: “There is nothing to suggest that we are heading for anything other than a soft landing.”
