Redrow has received planning permission for a development of 103 homes in Rugby that will be sold for prices starting at less than £60,000. The new Debut range of homes are steel framed with prefabricated walls, floors and roofs, and will be priced at £54,995 for a one-bedroom apartment rising to £119,995 for a two bedroom, two storey house. <p></p><p>While the government has challenged housebuilders to come up with designs for £60,000 homes to be built on government-owned land, Redrow’s Debut homes are priced to include the land, and meet government sustainability and thermal and sound insulation targets. The development is expected to be finished within a year.</p>
