<p><span>Redrow is planning to shut two of its divisions, with a “small reduction” in staff expected.</span></p> <p><span>A spokesperson for the business said the housebuilder was proposing to close the administrative offices of its Southern and Thames Valley divisions “and make a small reduction in staffing across some of our other teams”. </span></p> <p><span>The spokesperson added that the “vasty majority” of Redrow’s colleagues would not be affected by the decision, with no impact to customers. The proposed changes, briefed to colleagues this week, would also not affect Redrow’s schemes, the statement read.</span></p> <p><span>Redrow also stated: “We appreciate how difficult this is for those colleagues that are affected and we are supporting them throughout this process.”</span></p> <p><span>Redrow launched its Southern arm in Crawley, West Sussex, in June 2021 to take advantage of the continuing demand for homes in London's commuter belt.
