Hayfield has seen a record year in 2021, completing 222 units – its most in a single year – up from 154 in 2020.
The firm says it has a strong pipeline, with 400 homes currently under construction, a further 400 with planning permission and 1,000 going through the planning process with local authorities. The housebuilder, which builds mostly in the Home Counties, expects to complete close to 350 homes in 2022.
Hayfield’s average selling price in 2021 was £575,000, with homes in Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and Worcestershire.
Hayfield is a leading player in sustainable homes, boasting that every home it built in 2021 exceeded the government’s Future Homes Standard with air-source heat pumps and electric vehicle charge points installed as standard, while all properties held EPC ratings of B or above.
